13-14 weeks

I had an appointment today and everything looked good.

Weight gain?  Per the doctor..I am back at "pre-pregnancy weight." (I had lost 2lbs between the first and second appointment).  I'm actually shocked, I feel like I have gained at least 5lbs.  Anyway, my stomach is definitely beginning to pouch out (my Mom, Dad and Aunt Marcy can all attest to this--since they assured me they could tell I was pregnant)!

Maternity clothes? Not yet...but things are getting tight!

Sleep? No problem...can't get enough.

Movement? Nope.

Food cravings?  Banana splits,  yum.  Not necessarily  cravings...but have been eating a lot of cereal and cheese toast.

What I miss?  COFFEE, and it's not because I have given up caffeine.  Seriously, this has been the worst part of pregnancy for me....I have developed an aversion to coffee.   I love(d) coffee...I NEED coffee.  I'm hoping with the colder months coming it will come back.  If not, I'm seriously going to be mad.

What I am looking forward to? Finding out if its a Boy or Girl.  I can't wait.

Other thoughts.  I'm having flu vaccine remorse.  I got one today after my appointment once I got the official okay from the doctor.  Now, I'm worried that maybe it will give our baby autism.  Loving the cooler weather.  Also, looking forward to a visit from The Hardins next weekend!

my "3" stands for 3 months

Seattle Trip (9/4-9/11)

We had the most incredible time on our trip to Seattle.  Brent and I met Jennifer and Barrier (my cousin and her husband) in Seattle to visit my great-uncle and his family for a week.  We got the insider's tour of Seattle and were also treated to a four day boat trip on his 39 foot yacht where we spent each night at a different port in the San Juan islands.  Not to mention all the good food/drink we enjoyed....although my drinks included water, lemonade, water, etc.   We took over 600 pictures...

These first ones are from Pike Place Market and the Space Needle

Before I post about Seattle...

Brent and I wanted to announce....

We are having a baby!!
I am 12 weeks and 2 days pregnant as of today

Little Baby Hardin is due March 25, 2011.

We couldn't be more  excited!!
I have been feeling really good, almost normal, for the past two weeks.  The first ten weeks were a bit tougher---I was extremely exhausted...I'm talking, going to bed while the sun was still shining (people were mowing their grass).  If I wouldn't have been pregnant I would have sworn I had cancer.  It reminded me of my sophomore year of college when I had mono except without the fever and sore throat.  I also had some nausea, but never really threw up.  That was about the extent of it....and yes, I do realize that I am extremely lucky blessed and I am so incredibly thankful for
#1   an "easy" pregnancy thus far
#2    just the ability to get pregnant so easily.

Some important dates:
7/16/10--positive pregnancy tests ~ does anyone just take one?

8/3/10--went in for a "sneak peek" (just a small perk of knowing your OB)...to confirm we were pregnant!! Heart rate was 120.

8/17/10 (8wks4days)--first official "New Mom" appointment.  I forgot to upload the pictures.  Heart rate was 177 and looking good.

8/31/10 (10wks4days)--Return appt for blood work, etc.  Heart rate 164.
Again, we are super excited...it is finally sinking in that we are actually going to have a baby and be parents!  Please remember us in your prayers for a continued healthy and happy  pregnancy.
